I’m truly passionate about how a whole-system approach makes deep, transformative, permanent healing possible.
First, let’s delve into what isn’t a whole-system approach. Conventional doctors and even many alternative practitioners often focus on alleviating symptoms. Recommendations for medications or supplements are often made to mitigate symptoms rather than address the root cause, leading to a frequent return of symptoms.
In my practice, I combine Psychoanalysis and Mineral – Nutritional Balancing. The patient is always perceived as one self-healing system. This whole system encompasses the mind, brain, and physical body, plus emotions, thoughts, lifestyle, diet, rest level, and so much more. As a holistic health professional, I don’t ignore specific symptoms (in fact, it’s often the starting place), but I always see and treat the whole person.
From a whole-system perspective, the focus is perpetually on the deeper healing that unfolds as part of a Mineral-Nutritional Balancing Program. If a person experiences difficulties with, let’s say: digestion (IBS, constipation, diarrhea), I’ll consider all the elements that I know can contribute to these types of symptoms, such as:
- related body systems and organs (liver, thyroid, adrenal glands…)
- environmental factors (e.g., mould)
- mental and emotional health (ruminating thoughts, anxiety…)
- stressors (e.g., work, relationships)
- food/nutrition
- lifestyle (rest, sleep, movement)
Thanks to psychoanalysis, we will unravel unconscious limiting beliefs and patterns that can impact not only your emotions but also… your biochemistry and hence, your body.
I will make recommendations aimed at addressing the underlying causes of health concerns as well as to prevent future illness and enhance overall well-being. Unlike drugs or surgery, the aim is to nurture and support the body so it can commence its own healing. Nurture your body with the right vitamins and minerals but also with new empowering beliefs. If the body and the mind gets what it needs when it needs it, then healing of most conditions will naturally occur by itself.
Remember, your bodymind isn’t the same as anyone else’s, so your diet and lifestyle plan will inherently be tailored and unique as well.
This way of seeing the whole person, plus looking at how different areas of the bodymind may be relating to each other, means I can get to the root of your concern instead of only treating symptoms. It’s an effective, sustainable approach to maintaining good health and wellness over time.
